Description

Perform analytical tasks of MPR system in support of MPS and forecast for all the products to procure materials to assure production running by follow up delivery; independently manage CAT internal suppliers, follow up both internal and external suppliers by developing delivery performance, Logistics, Demand; control inventory level through managing lot size quantity, ordering lead time, demand etc.

JOB DUTIES:

• Responsible and accountable for the analysis and maintenance of material planning data, purchase orders, cost for CAT internal suppliers, handling payment related discrepancies, collecting invoices,
• Implement engineering changes by handling materials effective in and out, and also material disposal related.
• Scorecard supplier delivery performance and set up communication plan for supplier measurements and quality improvement.
• Accountable for keep tracking of the timely delivery, expedite the parts shortage with suppliers.
• Forecast and communicate parts shortage status with operations, analyse root cause of shortages.
• Responsible for inventory control strategy by set up min/max inventory, set up reasonable ordering lead time, review safety stock periodically, set up lot size days and ordering qty.
• Provide first-hand information to GP of supplier performance for the improvement.
• Manage suppliers for buy-sell-buy parts through standardized forecast, customer orders, purchasing and ship.
• Support 6 sigma project.

Basic Qualification:

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply chain or equivalent experience.
• 2 Year+ Experience in Material Planning analyst, inventory control in manufacturing environment.

Top Candidates will also have

• Knowledge and understanding of 6 Sigma project management principles
• Significant knowledge of production scheduling and capacity management
• Knowledge and/or experience in material control, purchasing, parts distribution, inventory control, manufacturing engineering, operations and transportation or logistics desired
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization and English communication skills
• Strong teamwork, interpersonal and communication skills

• Shift: 2nd - Full Time
• Working Hours: Monday – Friday 07:30 am. – 04:30 pm.
• Work location: Caterpillar (Thailand) Ltd. WHA Industrial Rayong Land., T.Nonglalok, A.Bankhai, Rayong
