Position Purpose:   

  • Oversees the planning, development and performance of clinically-based products and health care programs
  • Lead the Behavioral Health Population Health Clinical Innovation and Program team. Oversee enterprise core Behavioral Health population health programs ensuring alignment with company goals, regulatory requirements, evaluation, continuous improvement, and performance. Partner with stakeholders (health plans, shared services, medical affairs, analytics, and others) to develop strategies (framework, interventions, and measures) for population health programs development, implementation, performance, and improvement.

 

In this Senior Director, Clinical Programs role, you will:

  • Lead the development, implementation and monitoring of clinical programs and services that are reflective of industry best practices and achieve market leading results in improving outcomes and reducing costs
  • Collaborate with clinical, operations and business development teams to lead clinical program development initiatives that support the organization’s strategic initiatives
  • Maintain knowledge of competitive activity and program designs to continuously improve clinical programs and strategy
  • Support new business development activities and re-bids by creating clinical sections in RFPs and presenting clinical offerings
  • Communicate with accreditation stakeholders regarding program design, implementation status and performance metrics, as well as quality improvement project details
  • Represent organization at key industry events and meetings
  • Collaborate with data analytics to analyze program metrics, identify trends and insights to support strategic decisions, outcomes, and ensure compliance and reporting

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or related field required. Master’s or Doctoral degree preferred.
  • 7+ years of program development, program management and/or project management experience in a healthcare environment.
  • Strong understanding of contemporary clinical, operational, pharmacy relations, and regulatory pharmacy practices.
  • Background in managed care and specialty pharmacy benefit management.
  • Clinical program development experience in Behavioral Health a plus.

Highly Preferred clinical license (e.g., LCSW, LCPC, LICSW, Ph.D. or Psy.D., PMHNP, CNS, LMHC, RN)

  • Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
  • Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC)
  • Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW)
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Licensed Clinical Psychologist (Ph.D. or Psy.D.)
  • Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)
  • Clinical Nurse Specialist in Psychiatry (CNS)
  • Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC)
  • Registered Nurse (RN)

*Applicants for this job have the flexibility to work remote from home anywhere in the Continental United States.*

Pay Range: $142,300.00 - $263,500.00 per year
