We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented co-op student to join our team. In this role, you will contribute to the development and automation of scripts, while leveraging your technical skills to optimize workflows and enhance tool functionality. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in automation, programming, and data analysis within a collaborative and innovative environment.

Responsibilities:

• Script Automation: Develop, test, and implement automated scripts to streamline processes and improve efficiency. 
• Programming: Utilize MATLAB and LabVIEW to create, debug, and optimize scripts and tools for data processing and analysis. 
• Tool Integration: Work with Excel and other Microsoft Office tools to integrate data workflows and reporting mechanisms. 
• Data Analysis: Assist in organizing, analyzing, and interpreting data to support decision-making and process improvements. 
• Documentation: Maintain clear and concise documentation for tools, scripts, and workflows to ensure reproducibility and scalability. 
• Collaboration: Work closely with team members to understand requirements, provide solutions, and support ongoing projects. 

Required Qualifications:

• Enrolled in a degree program in Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related field. 
• Proficiency in MATLAB and LabVIEW for programming and tool development. 
• Familiarity with Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools (Word, PowerPoint, etc.). 
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. 
• Excellent communication and organizational skills. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with automation and scripting for data analysis or testing. 
• Knowledge of data visualization techniques and tools. 
• Familiarity with additional programming languages (e.g., Python, C++) is a plus. 

Pay Range:

The hourly pay range for this position is $25.00 - $34.00
