Summary:
The Data Manager is a Registered Nurse who is responsible to facilitate a team environment of continuous quality improvement in the collection, analysis and reporting of clinical data for public and private reporting purpose of the development of strategic, clinical recommendations for the Cardiovascular Institute(CVI).Responsibilities:
Collaborates organizes and reports quarterly data to the medical staff, committees and ancillary departments as indicated. Verifies accuracy of data and analyzes. Compiles data into report format and assures reports are submitted in a timely fashion.Presents America College of Cardiology (ACC), Society of Vascular Surgery (SVS) and Society of Thoracic Surgery (STS) data to medical staff in a clear concise manner.Acts as a resources to the CVI, Medical staff, nursing and ancillary departments.Responsible for ensuring coordination with medical staff, reviewing charts/consults with medical staff.Participates in interdisciplinary, collaborative discussion groups, formal working groups and special project efforts to develop innovative recommendations that will impact the quality and efficiency of the patient care model.Competencies:
