THE ROLE         

The role of Manager, Program Management is to support in the development and delivery of the overnight and hospitality packages for the Los Angeles 2028 Olympic and Paralympic Games. This program management role will focus on our B2C, B2B and sub-distributor travel products, collaborating with internal and external constituents to strategize, plan, manage, and deliver an optimal guest experience.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILTIES

  • Operational management of overnight and hospitality products, coordinating with functional areas—such as product, accommodations, transportation, and workforce operations—to ensure clear and effective guest communication, high service standards, and effective reporting.
  • Support as necessary, in conjunction with the games services department, on the preliminary sourcing, procuring, contracting for any in market needs including transportation, accommodation, venues, or vendors
  • Ensure effective communication and information sharing across functional areas (FAs) and manage ongoing program updates and changes.
  • Develop, manage and deliver guest experience at partner hotel properties, including check-in and in-stay services, back of house operations and guest movements to/from the hotel, in partnership with the accommodations and transportation team.
  • Develop, manage and deliver guest experience at program airports and venue, in partnership with the transportation team and games services department.
  • Implement agreed upon service plans into the guest journey and experience.  
  • Manage the planning, operations, and communications with the FAs for the B2C Sub-Distributors products and ensure FA leads have correct program information for execution including change management.
  • Support in the creation of the itinerary building and guest management system and upload and manage the data as needed,
  • Prepare and distribute event materials, presentations, and communication for both internal and external audiences.
  • Facilitate relationships with the vendors, suppliers, client leads, and functional areas, driving program progress as needed.
  • Support the RFP process and vendor onboarding globally or as required.
  • Support contract negotiations to secure optimal rates for Olympics and Paralympics program-related needs.
  • Manage process development by analyzing current practices, then identifying opportunities to streamline procedures that directly impact productivity.
  • Manage and reconcile operational budget line items for projects falling under purview.
  • Support in the development and delivery of onsite staffing plan including vetting, interviewing and hiring team members for the Olympic and Paralympic program execution.
  • Prepare and deliver operational and guest servicing onsite training materials.
  • Support planning and execution of site visit logistics including hotels, venues, and restaurants, etc.

Other Duties & Responsibilities

  • Prepare presentations, documentation, and communication materials in Microsoft Office (PPT, Word, Excel) or Keynote as needed and assigned.
  • Develop and implement specific event procedures and systems.
  • Attend and conduct meetings, record updates, and track progress.
  • Participate in brainstorming sessions, contributing ideas and creative insights.
  • Manage timelines and deadlines related to overall program and individual assignments.
  • Execute all other duties assigned by the team or leadership.

QUALIFICATIONS

To perform this job successfully, the candidate must be able to perform each essential duty above at the highest levels. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Required Experience, Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Extensive experience with global events and operations, including four or more Olympic Games and/or FIFA World Cups.
  • Proven track record managing the entire lifecycle of a global event, from planning through execution.
  • Background in Operations & Hospitality, with a strong interest in travel, major sporting events, and guest experience innovation.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality, Event Management, Sports Marketing and/or a related field, or equivalent experience preferred.
  • Experience in strategic thinking including putting process and best practices in place. 
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively at all organizational levels.
  • Extensive experience in Microsoft office (PPT, Word, Excel, etc. required).  
  • Continually strive for self-development and discovering better means of accomplishing professional goals. 

Travel

Must be adaptable with work and travel schedule and be available to travel for work which may include extended work hours during nights, weekends, and holidays.  This position may require up to 20% travel.

Per local requirements and in the interest of transparency, the range shown below reflects the prevalent current hiring range for this position. Hiring pay rates are based on a number of factors, including location and may vary depending on job-related qualifications, knowledge, skills and experience.  Endeavor strives to provide locally competitive rewards packages, which include base rate along with, as applicable, short- and long-term incentives, growth and developmental opportunities, and robust benefits, such as health care, retirement, vacation and other paid time off, and additional offerings.


Hiring Range Minimum:

$86,250 annually

Hiring Range Maximum:

$115,000 annually
