Summary:
As an Application Designer, you will assist in defining requirements and designing applications to meet business process and application requirements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the successful implementation of applications. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams, analyzing business needs, and designing innovative solutions to enhance business processes and application functionality.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- PeopleSoft 9,1 or above
- Knowledge of configurations / setups of PeopleSoft Financials
- Knowledge of General finance fundamental concepts / processes
- Experience of financials modules like BI, AR, CM, KK, AP, Banking, Travel Expenses, AM, CM and GL
- Sound understanding of PeopleSoft Business Process flows and transaction flows
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements.
- Design and develop applications to meet business process and application requirements.
- Create technical specifications and documentation for application design and development.
- Perform unit testing and debugging of applications to ensure functionality and quality.
- Provide support and troubleshooting for application issues.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in application design and development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Oracle PeopleSoft Receivables.
- Good To Have Skills: Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft Payables, Oracle PeopleSoft General Ledger.
- Strong understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and application design principles.
- Experience in designing and developing applications using Oracle PeopleSoft Receivables.
- Knowledge of Oracle PeopleSoft Payables and General Ledger modules.
- Familiarity with SQL and PL/SQL for database querying and manipulation.
- Ability to troubleshoot and debug application issues.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Should have knowledge of SDLC cycle, development, testing, deployment, Support
- Proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverable
- Experience working on Production Support will be an advantage
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 3 years of experience in Oracle PeopleSoft Receivables.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
