About this role 

You will be a key member of the Revenue Operations team, directly contributing to the growth of our New Ventures business by building out the systems, process, and infrastructure to help scale our organization to the next level. The New Ventures team is responsible for accelerating Udemy’s growth in international markets through exclusive partnerships. We currently operate in Japan, South Korea, China, and Vietnam.

The Sales Operations Manager, New Ventures, is a cross-functional role that partners with our sales, customer success, legal, finance, and reseller teams to enable us to scale and grow revenue efficiently. 

The ideal candidate will require a strong understanding of SaaS and needs to be experienced in Sales Operations and/or Go-To-Market Operations. You need to be data-driven, detail-oriented, customer-focused, business-minded, and intellectually curious. You understand how impactful data-driven insights can be in determining the right strategy, and how important smooth operations are to executing that strategy. You will need to roll up your sleeves and implement the necessary processes and tools to advance our GTM strategy.

This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Revenue Operations, New Ventures.

What you'll be doing:

  • Understand regional complexities to build tools, processes, and cross-functional support in guidance with best practice and local needs   
  • Provide analytics and strategic support for quarterly business reviews
  • Analyze and optimise the end-to-end sales process, from lead generation to deal close, to maximize efficiency and effectiveness
  • Perform sales forecasting, manage forecasting, and data analysis to provide valuable insight into team performance and general predictability
  • Develop and implement sales enablement initiatives, together with Enablement, to equip the sales teams with the knowledge and tools needed to succeed
  • Develop and project manage sales strategies and initiatives required to drive sales in a business organization
  • Uncover leading and lagging indicators of sales performance and predictability to help inform and guide our success
  • Collaborate closely with cross functional teams to drive alignment, communication, and collaboration across departments to ensure seamless execution of initiatives and projects
  • Support the processing of opportunities received from our Resellers in SFDC to accelerate the closure of deals

What you’ll have

  • 5+ years experience in Sales Operations, GTM Operations and/or business analytics
  • Salesforce knowledge: complex dashboards and reports, custom report types, calculated fields, workflows.
  • Experience administering GTM tools such as SFDC, Salesloft, Gainsight, Zoominfo, Dun & Bradstreet, etc. 
  • Exceptional quantitative and MS Excel skills (sumifs, index/match and vlookup, table formulas) to work on complex business issues with minimal supervision
  • Experience working closely with senior leaders in a SaaS B2B business
  • Get-it-done mindset. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and do what it takes to get the job done. 
  • A ‘what’s best for the business’ attitude, and willing to try new things, tackle complex projects and challenges
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and critical thinking skills to navigate the changing landscape at a fast growing company and to work with cross functional partners
  • Bi-lingual with business fluency in English and Japanese preferred.
