ABOUT THE ROLE
Arena is a new business incubated within Red Seat Ventures and backed by Tubi Media Group and Fox Corporation. Arena will reimagine access to premium live events through a modern membership model. We are seeking a founding SVP, Strategy & Operations to work alongside the CEO to turn Arena’s vision into a high-performing business from day one.
This is a rare opportunity to lead at inception—defining the strategy, building the roadmap, launching the product, and operationalizing the business across multiple markets. You will shape the DNA of a new brand at the intersection of technology, live entertainment, and premium membership.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
Partner with the CEO to define and execute Arena’s go-to-market strategy and launch plan
Translate strategic priorities into an operating model, roadmap, and team structure
Build and lead critical functions including business operations, logistics, inventory planning, and member experience
Develop performance frameworks, KPIs, and feedback loops to guide early execution and scale
Own supply and demand planning, including venue relationships, suite inventory, and market expansion strategy
Oversee system selection and implementation across CRM, booking, customer service, and analytics
Hire and manage initial operational team members while driving a high-performance culture
Work cross-functionally with partners across Red Seat Ventures, Tubi Media Group, and Fox Corp as the business scales
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
10+ years of experience in strategic operations, general management, or business building roles
Proven ability to build and scale early-stage businesses or divisions from zero to one
Experience in sectors such as hospitality, premium services, or entertainment
Strong operator mindset with hands-on comfort managing logistics, process, systems, and people
Strategic fluency with the ability to connect vision to execution and navigate ambiguity
Collaborative, entrepreneurial spirit with a bias toward action and accountability
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
Familiarity with live events or venue operations
Experience with premium membership models and their KPIs
Background in creator-led or DTC subscription businesses
Experience launching multi-market offerings or high-touch service models
Previous work in a venture-backed or corporate innovation environment
