Identity and Access Management Governance Program Lead (Remote/Flexible)
As the IAM Governance Program Lead you will have the opportunity to build the Identity and Access Management program from the ground up, creating policies and standards, designing controls that align to our overall cybersecurity strategy at Insulet. You will work with stakeholders across Insulet to ensure we have the right solutions in place to maintain least privilege and just-in-time access. You will do this by working closely with our access cyber risk and certifications team, and Enterprise Architecture and Corporate Technology departments to understand Insulet’s infrastructure, business objectives, and the cyber threat landscape.
Responsibilities
Design and operationalize security controls related to IAM governance.
Develop and implement the roadmap and strategy for the IAM Governance program.
Partner with cross-functional teams across the Security & Privacy Operations (SPO), Corporate Technology (CTO), and various business departments to ensure seamless alignment and implementation of IAM standards and controls.
Work with (SPO) certification teams to mature the access review certification process at Insulet. Ensuring timely review of access occurs.
Evaluate the effectiveness of the identity lifecycle management processes and risk reduction controls, advising on technology opportunities and process improvements.
Champion projects and initiatives to support IAM governance across Insulet.
Stay aware of industry, technology, and cybersecurity solution trends, recommending solutions, and tool rationalization.
Monitors the IAM Governance program’s operational health and maturity through operational key results, key performance indicators, and key risk indicators.
Key Decision Rights
Decisions related to IAM governance standard and control design, IAM governance technology selection, and implementation.
Collaborate with stakeholders to establish IAM security requirements that business and technology solutions must adhere to.
Decisions related to IAM as it pertains to cybersecurity risk level assessments related to business and technology objectives.
Required Leadership/Interpersonal Skills & Behaviors
Effectively communicate complex information, concepts, and ideas in a clear and organized manner through verbal, written, and visual mechanisms.
Strong collaboration skills and an ability to work with cross-functional teams across the Security and Privacy Operations organization and broader Corporate Technology organization.
Ability to work with virtual and global teams in a fast-paced environment.
Experience balancing security needs with broader business objectives.
Required Skills and Competencies
Familiarity with IAM-related Zero Trust security principles.
Experience advising strategies related to authentication, privileged access, management, and IAM governance.
Experience in a variety of IAM concepts (e.g. SSO, MFA, PAM, RBAC, PKI, etc.)
Experience designing and implementing just-in-time, least privilege, and other security controls to reduce cyber risk.
Experience with one or more IAM platforms such as Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, SailPoint, Saviynt, Delinea, or CyberArk.
Education and Experience
8+ years in cybersecurity or risk management with a focus on IAM.
Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field of study or equivalent practical experience in a related field.
Travel is estimated at 10% but will flex depending on business need.
This position is eligible for 100% remote working arrangements (may work from home/virtually 100%; may also work hybrid on-site/virtual as desired). #LI-Remote
Additional Information:
The US base salary range for this full-time position is $122,600.00 - $184,250.00. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
