As the Care Team Training and Support Supervisor, you’ll contribute to our success in the following ways: 

  • Lead and support Care Team Supervisors and caregivers, ensuring daily operations align with Elara Caring's mission, values, and commitment to quality patient care. 

  • Manage SCA schedules, productivity, and workload distribution to ensure appropriate coverage, operational efficiency, and achievement of performance expectations. 

  • Provide onboarding, mentorship, and operational training for new Care Team Supervisors and team members as needed. 

  • Support branch operations by assisting with vacant Care Team Supervisor caseloads, ensuring continuity of care, proper case management oversight, and uninterrupted service delivery. 

  • Coordinate and oversee the scheduling of homemaking, personal care, and home health aide services, including coverage for planned and unplanned absences. 

  • Maintain accurate records of client services, plans of care, caregiver schedules, service requests, authorizations, and contract-specific documentation. 

  • Educate clients and families on Elara Caring policies, services, and applicable federal and state regulations. 

  • Partner with branch leadership on growth initiatives, operational planning, and service expansion efforts. 

  • Review operational reports and proactively identify and resolve billing, payroll, utilization, scheduling, and service delivery discrepancies. 

  • Ensure compliance with all state, federal, payer, contract, licensure, and regulatory requirements. 

  • Provide coaching, support, performance feedback, and corrective action guidance to caregivers and supervisors to promote engagement, accountability, and quality outcomes. 

  • Monitor caregiver compliance with required certifications, training programs, health assessments, in-services, and regulatory requirements. 

  • Conduct caregiver orientations and onboarding activities as required. 

  • Monitor daily service delivery, open shifts, and staffing needs to ensure adequate caregiver coverage and continuity of care for all clients. 

  • Review utilization, authorization, and service delivery reports to identify trends, address inconsistencies, and improve operational performance. 

  • Communicate effectively with caregivers, clients, case managers, referral partners, and leadership teams to ensure exceptional service and timely issue resolution. 

  • Provide written and verbal updates to leadership regarding employee performance concerns, operational risks, client issues, and branch performance. 

  • Support and provide guidance to bilingual or specialized supervisory teams as needed to ensure consistent operational execution and service delivery. 

  • Maintain patient and employee confidentiality and ensure compliance with HIPAA privacy and security requirements. 

  • Represent Elara Caring professionally within the community by fostering positive relationships and participating in professional, community, and industry events. 

  • Lead through influence, accountability, teamwork, and service excellence while promoting a culture focused on compassion, quality, and continuous improvement. 

  • Perform additional duties, special projects, and operational initiatives as assigned to support branch success and organizational growth. 
     

What is Required?  
 

  • High School Diploma or GED required 

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree preferred 

  • Experience working with elderly or disabled populations preferred 

  • Five (5) years of experience in a fast-paced office or healthcare environment preferred 

  • Working knowledge of Medicare/Medicaid and home care operations preferred 

  • Strong computer proficiency and documentation skills 

  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities 

  • Professional verbal and written communication skills 

  • Strong leadership, coaching, and motivational skills 

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment 

  • Bilingual fluency (Spanish, Mandarin/Cantonese, Russian, or Portuguese) may be required based on location 

  • Reliable personal transportation and ability to travel locally and occasionally to support audits or operational needs
