Serves as videographer and editor for a variety of consumer-marketing efforts with an emphasis on social media projects. Works alongside others and in a team-oriented environment to maintain a strong presence on digital media.

Minimum Qualifications
Education: Associate’s degree required, Bachelor’s preferred, in marketing, advertising, communications, business, computer science, MIS or related field.
Licenses/ Certifications: (None)
Experience / Knowledge / Skills:
- Experience with industry standard graphics software and tools (e.g. Final Cut Pro X, Motion, DSLR cameras, lighting equipment, video conversion and codecs, Adobe products, Video and 3D video tour programs).
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
- Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills; able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously for multiple internal clients while providing superior attention to detail.
- Multimedia production (shooting, editing and producing) experience preferred.
- Working knowledge of social media and a drive for creative multimedia projects preferred.
Principal Accountabilities
- Consults with client and subject matter experts to conceptualize and design video production needed to meet the business objectives of the organization.
- Shoots a wide range of video productions determining lighting needs, shooting angle, white balance, set or location details, and sound levels.
- Proofs projects, edits final video, ensures consistency and quality of product, and delivers video production.
- Creates motion graphics.
- Assists Video Marketing Manager with video pre-production and scheduling projects.
- Secures internal approvals from management on projects.
- Ensures safe care to patients, staff and visitors; adheres to all Memorial Hermann policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications including time management, supply management, productivity and quality of service.
- Promotes individual professional growth and development by meeting requirements for mandatory/continuing education and skills competency; supports department-based goals which contribute to the success of the organization; serves as preceptor, mentor and resource to less experienced staff.
