In collaboration with the attending physician:
- Formulates the appropriate differential diagnosis based on history, physical examination and clinical findings
- Identifies needs of the individual, family or community as a result of the evaluation of the collected data
- Obtains a relevant health and medical history
- Performs a physical examination based on age and history
- Conducts preventative screening procedures based on age and history
- Identifies medical and health risks and needs
- Updates and records all changes in health status
- Formulates the appropriate differential diagnosis based on history, physical examination and clinical findings
- Identifies needs of the individual, family or community as a result of the evaluation of the collected data
- The nurse practitioner facilitates client participation medical and health care by providing information needed to make decisions and choices about the:
- The nurse practitioner provides educational opportunities for the individual and/or family related to health status, utilizing additional resources when indicated.
What you will need:
- Completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Program
- Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- IL Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant license or pending
- Valid DEA certificate
