The purpose of this role is to oversee the translating of clients merchandising and/or requests into actionabable tactics on clients website. This role oversees merchandisiers and/or content specialists who are managing clients website through product setup, promotion management, content and/or optimisation activities. May be responsible for leading a team of resources across multiple clients, actioning clients requests. This role serves as a SME for the platform, troubleshooting and provides guidance to client and internal team on best practices across the website.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Develop, configure, and maintain CMS-based websites and applications. 

  • Create and customize CMS templates, layouts, renderings, and reusable components following best practices. 

  • Implement and optimize CMS workflows, personalization, and content authoring features. 

  • Integrate CMS with external systems (CRMs, APIs, and third-party services). 

  • Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and performance optimization. 

  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve CMS-related issues in a timely manner. 

  • Collaborate with UX, QA, and backend teams to ensure seamless project delivery. 

  • Support ongoing enhancements, upgrades, and CMS migrations where required. 

Required Skills & Experience: 

  • 8+ years of hands-on experience in CMS development  

  • Solid understanding of CMS architecture, templates, rendering types, and pipelines. 

  • Knowledge of CMS Headless Services and JSS (JavaScript Services) is a plus. 

  • Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React/Angular preferred). 

  • Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps) and deployment pipelines. 

  • Exposure to Azure PaaS, CMS upgrades, and cloud deployments is an advantage. 

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field. 

  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills. 

  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
