Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network & Unified Communications Specialist to lead the design, implementation, and management of enterprise-scale network and collaboration platforms. The role requires a balance of technical expertise, leadership, and decision-making to ensure performance, scalability, and security across a global IT environment. The ideal candidate will not only manage infrastructure but also mentor team members and influence technology roadmaps.
Roles & Responsibilities
* Design, configure, and maintain enterprise network infrastructure (controllers, routers, switches, wireless access points, circuits).
* Lead large-scale deployments (1,200+ routers, 1,400+ switches, 4,500+ access points) with high availability and reliability.
* Implement and manage Zero Trust Network Access (ZPA/ZTNA) solutions.
* Oversee operations of Juniper, Cisco, VMware NSX, and multi-vendor network environments.
* Administer and secure DNS/DHCP/IPAM (InfoBlox) and integration with Cloudflare.
* Drive strategy, deployment, and optimization of Unified Communications platforms: Cisco UCC, Avaya, UCCaaS, Webex Contact Center.
* Use monitoring platforms (OpsRamp) to ensure proactive incident management.
* Collaborate with stakeholders to define network/UC strategies aligned with business goals.
* Lead, mentor, and guide junior engineers to build technical and operational excellence.
* Participate in architectural decision-making and vendor evaluations.
* Ensure compliance with security, risk, and governance standards.
* Promote automation, documentation, and continuous improvement of IT operations.
Professional and Technical Skills
* 5-7 years of experience in enterprise networking and unified communications.
* Strong technical expertise in IP routing, switching, wireless networks, and circuits.
* Advanced knowledge of Juniper, Cisco, and other leading vendors.
* Proficiency in Zero Trust architectures (Zscaler ZPA/ZTNA).
* Hands-on with InfoBlox, Cloudflare, OpsRamp, VMware NSX.
* Strong background in Unified Communications platforms (Cisco UCC, Avaya, UCCaaS, Webex Contact Center).
* Solid understanding of network security, redundancy, and DR/BCP.
* Proven leadership skills with experience in team management, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration.
* Strong decision-making abilities, with a focus on balancing technical feasibility, cost efficiency, and business impact.

* CCNP/CCIE (Cisco)
* JNCIP/JNCIE (Juniper)
* VCP-NV (VMware NSX)
* Zscaler Certified Engineer
