Role Summary

The Director of Growth, Brand & Market Operations will drive Ark Workplace Risk’s next phase of expansion from £20m to £60m revenue by 2029, by unifying marketing, brand, and commercial operations under one performance-led growth engine. This role owns visibility, positioning, and qualified demand creation, embedding Ark as the most trusted partner in risk, compliance, and safety across the built environment. Operating with minimal oversight, this leader will convert board-level strategy into action, delivering speed, measurable impact, and sustained commercial growth.

 

Key Responsibilities

Brand Leadership & Market Visibility — Position Ark as the market benchmark for highly differentiated technical quality, service excellence, and trusted partnership.

Content, PR & Media Strategy — Deliver an aligned content calendar with thought-leadership, case studies, and expert commentary in >10 key media outlets including Property Week and Estates Gazette.

Demand Generation & Lead Nurture — Develop and optimise MQL/SQL pipelines using CRM, automation, and AI-enabled targeting across 7,000+ contacts and 3,000+ organisations.

Events & Partnerships — Plan and deliver 40+ events annually (own, partner, and industry) including webinars, conferences, white papers, round tables and strategic collaborations, maximising ROI from sponsorships and participation.

Digital & Technology Enablement — Lead digital strategy across all platforms, working with IT and AI teams to enhance automation, analytics, and multi-channel reach.

Content Innovation & Media Production — Use advanced libraries, digital tools, and emerging technologies to create high-quality images, videos, podcasts, and interview content that reinforce Ark’s market authority and thought leadership, where l high-complexity work with creative freelancers.

Sales Enablement & Collateral — Maintain brand-aligned materials for the commercial and technical teams to support conversion and client engagement.

Stakeholder Collaboration — Work with technical experts, consultants, and leadership to translate deep expertise into high-impact market content and client communication.

CRM Data Integrity & Automation — Deliver a clean, accurate CRM system by establishing data standards, conducting regular hygiene reviews, and leveraging automation tools to ensure consistent quality across all contact and account records.

 

Person Specification

Experience: Extensive experience in B2B marketing or commercial operations, ideally within property, professional services, or built-environment technology sectors. Proven track record of scaling brand visibility, lead generation, and growth.

Autonomy & Drive: Operates with high self-direction, thrives on stretch targets, and delivers at speed without supervision.

Strategic Execution: Converts board-level strategy into tactical campaigns and measurable commercial results.

Commercial Acumen: Deep understanding of unit economics, lead cost, and EBITDA contribution.

Technology Fluency: Expert in LinkedIn Ads, HubSpot/CRM automation, analytics tools, and AI marketing applications.

Creativity & Judgment: Balances innovation with brand control and compliance.

Emotional Intelligence: Self-aware, resilient, credible with senior stakeholders, and highly collaborative.
