Job Description Summary

The Lead Proposals Specialist will be responsible for tendering of HV Circuit Breaker Products for the US market.

Job Description

  • Formulates and executes proposal strategy and sales agreements for High Voltage Circuit Breaker business for US market
  •  Formulates deal structure, pricing, proposal development. Assists in customer negotiations.
  • Deliver the bid in line with agreed bid strategy, organize the tendering activities, Co-ordinate with Engineering, sourcing & project Management team to optimize the technical solution and commercial proposal.
  • Build up the cost estimate, ensure all costs are properly validated and adequate risks provisions are considered for projects
  • Lead preparation of tender documentation in line with bidding strategy. Ensure sufficient time is available for review and validation of documentation before submission to Customer
  • Ensure adherence to tendering procedures and tools, all relevant tender approvals and gates should be obtained and recorded in a timely manner. Provide support during the tender review process in addressing any concern so as to ensure on time delivery of the tender outputs. Also, ensure that all comments received during the Tender Approvals are recorded and addressed before submittal of the proposal.
  • Order booking for the tenders as per the defined processes and successful handover to the execution team.
  • Contribute to win loss analysis – with development of higher level of proficiency
  • Utilizes in-depth knowledge of own and others sales territory, product lines, markets, sales processes or customer groups and uses analytical thinking and commercial experience to execute policy/strategy.
  • Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others; is aware of the competition and the factors that differentiate them in the market

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university (or high school/diploma equivalent with 6+ years of experience in related field).
  • Additional 3+ years of experience in a customer facing engineering or sales role.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $92,800.00 and $154,700.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.

 

 

Bonus eligibility: sales incentive.
