Job Summary
This role involves designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications that cater to specific business requirements. The role requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to create functional, user-friendly, and reliable software solutions. The developer will conduct testing, debugging, and troubleshooting to ensure software applications are free of defects and meet high-quality standards.

Responsibilities
• Design enhancements, updates, and programming changes for parts and subsystems of end-user applications software running on local, networked, and Internet-based platforms.
• Analyze design and determine coding, programming, and integration activities required based on general objectives and knowledge of the overall architecture of the product or solution.
• Investigate and resolve technical issues reported by users or identified during testing and usage.
• Write and execute complete testing plans, protocols, and documentation for the assigned portion of the application.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and quality assurance teams, to implement new features and functionalities in software applications.
• Allocate resources to complete programming projects and design detailed plans to ensure applications function properly.
• Lead a project team of other software applications engineers and internal and outsourced development partners to develop reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality solutions for assigned applications portion or subsystem.
• Collaborate and communicate with management, internal, and outsourced development partners regarding software applications design status, project progress, and issue resolution.
• Represent the software applications engineering team for all phases of larger and more complex development projects.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices in software development to improve skills.









Education & Experience Recommended
• Four-year or Graduate Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or any other related discipline or commensurate work experience or demonstrated competence.
• Typically has 4-7 years of work experience, preferably in applications engineering, programming, or a related field or an advanced degree with 3-5 years of work experience.
