WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for two Senior Partner Representatives for Zalando, one will fully own the Football business and the other one will own the Performance Speciality business (Basketball, Tennis, Skateboarding & Golf) for the biggest online account in EMEA. Your goal is to grow and claim the number 1 market share for Football/Performance Speciality within Zalando by driving the strategy, landing seasonal stories and right assortments (breadth and depth) and serving your target consumer.

We are looking for two candidates with strong partner leadership skills, an understanding of merchandising, savyness in business planning and a knowledge of retail planning. Digital competence is a plus!

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will be fully responsible for driving and growing the football/perf. speciality business within Zalando. This includes:

  • Commercials responsibilities of driving the seasonal sell-in and growing in-season replenishment opportunities
  • Maintaining a healthy relationship with the Zalando Buying team
  • On a seasonal base, you will co-create consumer-right assortments for Zalando together with the merchendising team
  • You will be responsible for the forecasting and scenario planning of the football/perf. speciality business
  • Your focus will be on landing the best experience for the Zalando consumer by ensuring the best storytelling and product presentation on Zalando.com

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

In this role you will report directly to the Commerce & Partnership Transformation Director of Zalando. Next to you, there is 8 other Partner Reps focusing on different parts of the business (e.g. Women’s Lifestyle, Kids). In your role, you'll work closely with the Merchandising, Planning and Marketing team and driving cross-functional alignment. And most importantly you will partner very closely with the Zalando team that is based in Berlin!

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Relevant working experience in Sales, Operations, Merchandising and/or Planning
  • Good relation building skills: Proven experience in Partner Management
  • Savvyness with numbers: Shown experience in analytical skills including business planning & retail planning
  • Love for product: Experience in building seasonal assortments
  • A positive and a win-as-a-team attitude
