Role & Responsibilities

The Senior D2C Operations Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing the Direct-to-Consumer (D2C) operations, focusing on supply chain management, sell-out forecasting, promotion analysis, and data management. This position requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills to ensure seamless operations, optimize inventory levels, and drive sales growth through data-driven decision-making.

Reports to the Director of SES, based at our Plano, TX office.

Position Objective

Supply Chain Management:

  • Develop and implement efficient supply chain strategies to ensure timely delivery of products
  • Collaborate with suppliers, logistics partners, and internal teams to optimize inventory levels
  • Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and cost savings

Sell-Out Forecasting:

  • Analyze historical sales data and market trends to create accurate sell-out forecasts for D2C channels.
  • Work closely with sales and marketing to align forecasts with promotional activities and demand planning
  • Continuously refine forecasting models to enhance accuracy and support inventory management decisions

Promotion Analysis:

  • Evaluate the effectiveness of promotions by analyzing sales data, customer behavior, and market trends
  • Provide actionable insights to optimize future promotions and maximize return on investment (ROI)
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop data-driven strategies for successful promotional execution

Data Management:

  • Oversee the collection, analysis, and reporting of key operational and sales data for D2C channels
  • Utilize data analytics to identify trends, opportunities, and challenges in D2C operations

Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of experience in supply chain management, operations, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in D2C operations, sell-out forecasting, and promotion analysis.
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Tableau).
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to think strategically and drive operational improvements in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven ability to successfully collaborate with various levels of associates.
  • Leadership skills with a proven track record of leading teams.
