This opportunity is in Bentonville, Arkansas where we are growing our amazing design community in our new, state-of-the-art campus.

As a member of our central Design Ops team, you’ll wear multiple hats and enable the design team at the world’s largest company to run more smoothly. We are looking for a resourceful self-starter to join our award-winning team at the forefront of retail. This is an exciting opportunity to have an impact across our entire Design organization and help us grow our design community in Northwest Arkansas. This role will report into our Head of Design Operations.

A few examples of the types of projects you’ll work on:

  • Design Studio: Play a critical role within your first 12 months in helping us get our brand-new design studio at our New Home Office in Bentonville fully outfitted for designers.
  • Events: Plan regular team events, recruiting sessions, coffee connects, team training, happy hours and more. Support in the planning of our annual in-person Design Summit.
  • Onboarding: Help new hires in Bentonville get setup and onboarded to our team.
  • Tooling: Support with our team’s tooling and tech stack.
  • Community & Culture: Be a great steward for our growing design community down in Bentonville.

You’ll sweep us off our feet if:

  • You’ve worked with designers before and/or have had a Creative or Design Ops role
  • You are highly organized with a strong attention to detail
  • You love planning and coordinating events
  • You have experience managing complex projects on your own and collaborating with multiple stakeholders
  • You are very proactive and a confident communicator
  • You collaborate naturally, operate independently, and are comfortable giving and receiving feedback 
  • You produce great work with quick turnarounds and multitask effectively across different activities
  • You have experience working in Airtable
  • You are driven by empathy and motivated by the opportunity to impact the day-to-day experience of designers
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment
  • You’re excited by the prospect of supporting a design team that is directly shaping the future of retail

Preferred Qualifications  

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience ideally in Design or Creative Operations, event planning and/or talent programming within cross-functional teams, or as an experienced design program manager.

The annual salary range for this position is $90,000.00-$180,000.00

Minimum Qualifications...

Option 1: Bachelor's degree in UI/UX design, graphic design, visual communication, product design, computer science, information technology, or related area and 3 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area. Option 2: 5 years’ experience in UI/UX, interactive and visual design, electronics art, multimedia design, or related area.
