  • Project Description:

    We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Architect ES who thrives in dynamic environments and can lead with both technical acumen and collaborative mindset. The ideal candidate will bring deep expertise in Java and Spring Boot, have strong DevOps knowledge, and demonstrate a practical ability to understand and work with legacy code.

    This role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams within DXC and our clients, playing a key role in designing and delivering scalable enterprise solutions.

  • Responsibilities:

    1. Proactive Problem-Solving
    Lead initiatives independently and drive results in complex technical landscapes.
    Tackle architectural and development challenges with a hands-on, solution-oriented approach.

    2. Collaboration Skills
    Ensure smooth and effective communication within internal teams and with clients.
    Foster a culture of cooperation and continuous improvement.

    3. Java & Spring Boot Expertise
    Deliver high-quality code using Java and Spring Boot.
    Demonstrate knowledge at or above the level of the "Spring Framework 6: Beginner to Guru" course.

    4. Legacy Code Understanding
    Analyze existing systems to extract and communicate embedded business logic and rules.
    Facilitate smooth modernization or integration of legacy components.

    5. DevOps Proficiency
    Work with modern DevOps tools and platforms, including but not limited to:
    Kubernetes
    Docker
    Google JIB
    Gradle
    GitLab Pipelines
    Helm Charts
    ArgoCD
    Vault

    6. Team Collaboration
    Act as a sparring partner and mentor for:
    Business Analysts
    Backend Developers
    Frontend Developers
    QA/Test Engineers

    7. ReactJS Experience (Nice to Have)
    Experience or familiarity with ReactJS is considered a strong plus.

  • Mandatory Skills Description:

    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
    8+ years of software development experience with a strong background in system architecture.
    Proven track record in Java-based enterprise application design and deployment.
    Hands-on experience with modern CI/CD and container orchestration tools.

    Preferred Attributes:
    Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
    Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
    Agile/Scrum experience is a plus.
