The Client Controller Reporting Director is a senior management level position responsible for accomplishing results through the management of a team in an effort to provide analysis and reporting in coordination with the Client LFO team. The role will support the newly established Client Organization in building and implementing control frameworks to support Client focused financial reporting. As the senior lead reporting manager is a new role, the candidate will be required to develop reporting and control procedures to accurately prepare information required for management reporting and analysis. The role will need expertise in large data management of Institutional Client products and services. The candidate will have experience in control design and risk mitigation with a proven track record of leading engagements with senior stakeholders. The role will support Citi's core lines of business in developing the reporting capabilities necessary for business leadership to deliver on its commitments to its clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and develop an efficient and agile team to support Client Reporting use cases and capabilities.
  • Support the analysis and submission of reports to various constituencies across the franchise to help improve capital management and client offerings that provide the right returns for Citi.
  • Align client reporting to the financial reporting standards of the firm.
  • Partner with revenue areas to improve efficiency, effectiveness, productivity, and controls
  • Manage day-to-day high level operational execution and development of the strategic direction of the relevant infrastructure area
  • Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards

Qualifications:

  • 15+ years of relevant experience
  • Experience in people management
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and management skills
  • Ability to work across functional areas
  • Demonstrated project management skills

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree/University degree or equivalent experience
  • Master’s degree or CFA preferred
