We are currently looking for a Senior Manufacturing Process Engineer to join our team in Malta. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring that manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and in full compliance with regulatory and quality standards.

Summary

Provide implementation of all activities in the departments related to Process Engineering, to ensure manufacturing goals are reached through maximum and efficient use of available resources.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Ensure products are provided to customers on time so that product quality, yield, operating costs and process efficiencies are met.

• Responsible for assuring compliances to all regulatory requirements – FDA, OSHA, OFCCP, EPA, etc.

• Adheres to all environmental, health and safety SOPs, equipment, policies and procedures, including any process specific requirements.

• Perform analytical review, recommend, and implement corrective action for any exception condition.

• Identify/Execute/Implement process specific improvements within all production areas arising from both quality and performance issues.

• Areas of focus include: DPM, Conversion loss, SPC, CIPM, FMEA, EPC, Digitization and iCare.

• Support Maintenance Activities and upkeep of respective documentation

• Maintain and update departmental Standard Local Operating Procedures.

• Support plant-wide strategic plan programs and activities

• Reporting directly to the Maintenance Area Principal Engineer

Qualifications

• Ability to interpret and analyze statistical data and information and financial reports, understand, and resolve technical difficulties, interface with internal engineering/technical experts and external technical representatives, manage multiple priorities in a manufacturing plant setting, and be resourceful to a large manufacturing department.

• Experience in Manufacturing industry 3+ years is required for Senior

• Bachelors Degree in Engineering field (Mechanical, Electrical or Manufacturing)

At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The minimum salary for this position is €32,000.00 ​annually. Your initial pay could be at the minimum or higher based on skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors, all of which are subject to change. This position may also be eligible for competitive benefits, discretionary bonuses, and/or long-term incentive.
