Our Newest Opportunity: 

The Client Service Specialist supports the staff by assisting with group enrollment, renewal processes and additional administrative functions that are designed to improve and enhance workflows, timeliness, and client responsiveness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):

  • Attaches applications to appropriate client file in Microsoft CRM

  • Collaborate with internal teams and offer support to the Account Managers and Benefits Consultants

  • Answer incoming phone calls

  • Prepare census for new groups and renewals

  • Liaison for our other brokers on our associated health plan renewals

  • Create and print open enrollment materials (benefits guidebooks, election forms, etc)

  • Responsible for making changes and updating files and templates

  • Maintain accurate benefits records, including enrollment forms, plan documents

  • Process and maintain benefits enrollment/terminations and changes, ensuring that all forms are completed accurately and submitted in a timely manner

  • Maintain and update our website and post on our social media site

  • Create marketing flyers

  • Participate and assist with onsite & offsite work events

  • Support the team with ongoing projects

Qualifications, Skills and Requirements:

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to thrive in fast-paced production environment

Education, Training and Experience:

  • 2+ years’ applicable job experience, preferred

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products, required

  • Prior experience in broker agency or benefit administration firm, preferred

  • Familiarity with insurance carrier websites, preferred

  • Proven track record in customer service; preferred

  • High school diploma, required

  • Familiarity with database applications, a plus

The typical base pay range for this role nationwide is $18 to $20 per hour.


Your base pay is dependent upon your skills, education, qualifications, professional experience, and location. In addition to base pay, some roles are eligible for variable compensation, commission, and/or annual bonus based on your individual performance and/or the company’s performance.
