Position: Supply Chain Execution

Location: Lumentum Thailand, Navanakorn – Pathum Thani
 

The Supply Chain Execution – Commercial Lasers role is responsible for leading end-to-end execution of demand and supply plans to support customer commitments, operational performance, and business objectives across the global supply chain network.

This role serves as a key operational partner between Sales, Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing, and external manufacturing partners, including Nava and Fabrinet, to ensure effective supply execution, delivery performance, and inventory optimization.

The position plays a critical role in translating demand signals into executable supply plans while balancing customer priorities, operational constraints, inventory strategies, and business targets within a complex, high-mix manufacturing environment. The role is expected to proactively identify supply risks and opportunities, drive mitigation and recovery actions, and ensure strong cross-functional alignment to support revenue, margin, and customer satisfaction goals.

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong operational execution, analytical capability, business acumen, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic global manufacturing environment. This individual must be highly collaborative, results-oriented, and capable of driving decisions and execution with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.

Key Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end supply chain execution activities for Commercial Lasers to ensure on-time delivery performance and alignment with customer and revenue commitments.

  • Translate demand requirements into executable supply and operational plans while driving alignment across Sales, Planning, Procurement, Operations, and Manufacturing teams.

  • Partner closely with Nava and Fabrinet to ensure demand priorities, supply requirements, and operational changes are communicated effectively to achieve optimal supply commits and delivery performance.

  • Monitor supply and demand execution performance, proactively identify supply risks, constraints, and opportunities, and drive mitigation and recovery plans to minimize business impact.

  • Manage inventory strategies and risk-buy activities to balance customer service levels, working capital efficiency, and supply continuity.

  • Drive effective cross-functional coordination and communication related to supply priorities, material constraints, delivery risks, and operational escalations.

  • Support operational decision-making through data analysis, execution tracking, and performance reporting to stakeholders and leadership teams.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional partners to improve supply chain execution processes, operational efficiency, and overall customer experience.

  • Maintain strong execution discipline, responsiveness, and accountability while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain, Planning, Operations, or Supply Chain Execution within a manufacturing environment.

  • Experience in electronics, optics, or other high-tech manufacturing industries is preferred.

  • Strong understanding of supply chain operations, demand and supply planning, inventory management, and manufacturing execution processes.

  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or equivalent platforms.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities with the ability to manage operational complexity effectively.

  • Strong communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced, and global manufacturing environment.

  • Good command of spoken and written English communication.
