The Global Studies / Global Projects Lead is responsible for leading the operational delivery of one or more Phase Ib–IV clinical studies. This role oversees end-to-end study execution, ensures high-quality data delivery, and drives cross-functional collaboration with internal partners and external vendors.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead cross-functional Global Study Management Teams and ensure studies progress on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
• Oversee development of core study documents (protocols, reports, operational plans).
• Ensure high-quality risk management, study oversight, and data accuracy in all systems.
• Build strong partnerships with teams and other external vendors.
• Track study performance, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Maintain inspection readiness and ensure compliance with GCP and internal SOPs.
• Manage study budgets, forecasting, and financial risks.
• Promote collaborative team culture and effective communication across all stakeholders.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.

Qualifications

• University degree in life sciences or related field.
• 3 to 5+ years of clinical research experience, including project/study management.
• Strong knowledge of clinical operations, prior Clinical Research Associate experience preferred, regulatory requirements, and drug development.
• Proven leadership skills with cross-functional teams and external partners.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in a fast-paced, global environment.
• Travel may be required.
• Experience leading complex global trials.
• Exposure to multiple therapeutic areas e.g. oncology, ophthalmology, neurology.
• Experience presenting to governance or senior leadership teams.
• Experience as a people manager (for senior grades)
