A Brief Overview
This role will oversee the Retail and Solutions Sales forecast for Safelite. The position will focus heavily on analyzing demand, conversion, market, and productivity trends, developing a real-time point of view on Sales expectations in collaboration with partners throughout the business. The candidate will be tasked with providing volume expectations to Finance Business Partners to assist with variable expense management for the departments they support. The position will provide key analytics, insight, and historical context on Sales results to Finance Leadership. The ideal candidate should have excellent analytical, written, and oral communication skills.

What you will do

• Daily Sales Model: Manage daily/weekly/monthly/quarterly/annual Retail and Solutions Sales forecasts.
• Weekly Sales Reporting: Communicate weekly sales results to Regional Operational Leadership, coordinate variance commentary vs expectations.
• Segment and Product Mix Analysis: Track weekly results across all segments and products, highlight key takeaways to Finance Leadership, incorporate trends into future projections.
• Strategic Partnership: Partner with Commercial & Customer Experience department (advertising, price, and conversion) and Field Finance (job completion / productivity).
• Volume Guidance: Provide accurate and timely volume expectations to Finance Business Partners.
• Reporting: Provide recurring reporting and financial materials for internal and external stakeholder reviews.
• Execute Change Management: Drive efficiency and continuous process improvement.
• Other duties assigned by management

Education Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field Required

Experience Qualifications

• 4-6 years of experience required
• Experience in Financial Planning & Analysis, Data Analytics, or Business Intelligence required.
• Background in Retail, Marketing or Digital Analytics preferred.

Skills and Abilities

• Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to exercise business judgment and effectively communicate with management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, organized, detail-oriented, and thorough
• Comfortability in working with assumptions and imperfect data
• Team player with a positive attitude
• Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint and Access
• Experience using financial modeling software such as TM1/Planning Analytics and SPSS, a plus
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to adjust to fast-paced work environment
