Partner Merchandising is part of the Merchandising Function. Our role is to win with consumers through anchoring our strategies in the Consumer X Field of Play Offense, creating differentiated retail and marketplace experiences.
We obsess consumer, marketplace, competition, and partner insights to serve our consumers’ needs and our business today whilst taking a pivotal role in serving their future needs and improving our future capacity. This can be only be done through the strong cross functional work and partnership with the Consumer Teams and wider Partner Organization.
We’re looking for two Senior Managers, owning the newly crafted Football and Kid’s CFOP Partner Merch team to represent the consumer insights, trends and capacity for a group of aggregated partners within the Marketplace CFOP. These roles will be the voice of the consumer, product and story telling for this subset of partners in order for us to win with the end in mind and land the CFOP strategy. They are complex roles, working with real time insights to react to short term opportunities, as well as input into the longer term line planning for future consumer needs. These roles will require a daring ‘Just do it’ demeanor to bring the mission and vision to life.
The candidate needs to thrive working within a complex environment and with multiple partners, consumers and countries. The candidate needs to be confident in working through ambiguity, especially in the early stages of the CFOP Teams as we start to craft and define the newly built roles and teams. As a result the candidate will need to be a phenomenal teammate, have excellent interpersonal skills and be able to effectively prioritize inline with the short and long term priorities.
You’ll be working with multiple functions and collaborators to land the CFOP strategy with the subset of Partners. You will work with your direct CFOP team to represent the entire marketplace, joining forces on key tasks as Line Planning, Hind sighting, Trend and Insights and improving the CFOP strategy across the entire marketplace. You will develop a team of partner merchants who will report into you.
A typical season will focus on advising assortment capacity for Gender / Product Engine that advises our Lead, Play, Embrace model to influence future line planning. You will translate the Geo lead assortments frameworks into consumer right account assortments. You’ll be working with sales, planning and marketing and the account to land the go to market strategy. No two days will be the same, with a constant need to read & react to real time consumer and marketplace insights to improve in season and short term opportunities.
You will be working with multiple collaborators in both the NMP and Geo Consumer teams in completing the football or kids strategy. You will be an integral part of the Partner CFOP Squad working cross functionally with marketing, sales and planning.
