Job Description Summary

Lead the localization of high-voltage (HV) equipment manufacturing for the GEAT joint venture.
Support the transition from an import-based model to local manufacturing at the Batna factory.
Ensure execution of manufacturing and procurement activities in line with contract milestones for delivery to Sonelgaz/STOS.
Drive capability building to enable full operational independence after GEAT Phase 1 completion.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

  • All activities related to the testing and validation of GEAT localized equipment, facility or plant in accordance to the design objectives or specifications for operational use. includes Performance Services, Performance tests
  • Developing conceptual knowledge of professional discipline. May include support roles with specialized expertise or technical knowledge in broad area.
  • Applies general knowledge of business developed through education or past experience. Understands how work of own team contributes to the area.
  • Resolves issues using established procedures. Consults supervisor or more senior team members for issues outside of defined instructions/parameters.
  • Collaborates with others to solve issues. For customer facing roles, develops strong customer relationships and serves as the interface between customer and GE. Exchanges technical information, asks questions and checks for understanding.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in electronic/electrical engineering
  • Minimum of 15 years of working experience ‎in field services activities.
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in GEV‎ Expertise and coaching in AIS (Air Insulated Switchgear).
  • Strong Knowledge of FK mechanism (Assembling, Maintenance & Expertise)
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulic system for GCB (Generator Circuit Breaker)
  • Strong knowledge in field devices, Measurement equipment’s (KOCOS, DILO ‎ etc…)‎
  • Develop and drive actions to continuously improve key performance indicators.
  • Visible and active leader, promoting a working environment to achieve commitment and excellence in EHS, quality, customer service, engineering and productivity,
  • Know how transfer, manufacturing of PT (Power Transmitter) equipment till FAT localization is part of business plan agreed between customer & GEV.
  • Ability to handle special tools to ensure the manufacturing process
  • Strong knowledge and implement of technical Engineering of CBR Component.
  • Strong computer skills using MS Office Software, MS project, Salesforce etc…
  • Fluent English, French and Arabic.
