The Company

Dexcom Corporation (NASDAQ DXCM) is a pioneer and global leader in continuous glucose monitoring (CGM). Dexcom began as a small company with a big dream: To forever change how diabetes is managed. To unlock information and insights that drive better health outcomes. Here we are 25 years later, having pioneered an industry. And we're just getting started. We are broadening our vision beyond diabetes to empower people to take control of health. That means personalized, actionable insights aimed at solving important health challenges. To continue what we've started: Improving human health.

We are driven by thousands of ambitious, passionate people worldwide who are willing to fight like warriors to earn the trust of our customers by listening, serving with integrity, thinking big, and being dependable. We've already changed millions of lives and we're ready to change millions more. Our future ambition is to become a leading consumer health technology company while continuing to develop solutions for serious health conditions. We'll get there by constantly reinventing unique biosensing-technology experiences. Though we've come a long way from our small company days, our dreams are bigger than ever. The opportunity to improve health on a global scale stands before us.

Meet the team:

Join a passionate team of engineers who are truly making a difference in the lives of people with diabetes. As a Systems Engineer at Dexcom India, you will act as a bridge between user needs and technical execution.

We operate on a "Full Stack" Systems Engineering model, meaning our engineers engage with the feature lifecycle end-to-end—from defining requirements to executing verification. We are a collaborative and innovative group dedicated to developing cutting-edge mobile (Android/iOS) and medical device solutions that empower users to manage their health with confidence. If you are driven to make an impact and thrive in a fast-paced, agile environment, this is the team for you.

Where you come in:

  • You will translate high-level product vision, user needs, and transform them into detailed, testable technical requirements for our medical devices and associated mobile applications.

  • You will create and maintain comprehensive System and Software Requirements Specifications (SRS), ensuring alignment with architecture and risk management frameworks.

  • You will execute and manage requirements traceability using tools like Jama Connect, ensuring completeness, clarity, and consistency throughout the product lifecycle. You will generate and maintain verification trace matrices to demonstrate end-to-end coverage from requirements to test cases.

  • You will collaborate with software, hardware, and test engineers to develop system and subsystem test strategies, plans, and test cases that validate all documented requirements.

  • You will work closely with development and quality teams to resolve technical ambiguity and ensure the final product meets all clinical and user needs.

  • You will apply Systems Engineering best practices throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring rigorous adherence to internal SOPs and external standards.

What makes you successful:

  • Systems Thinking: You have a solid understanding of Systems Engineering principles, ideally with exposure to BLE architecture, mobile application development (Android/iOS), or embedded systems.

  • Regulatory Knowledge: You have a working knowledge of (or a strong desire to learn) industry standards such as IEC 62304 (Medical Device Software) and ISO 14971 (Risk Management) and how to write requirements that support them.

  • Tool Proficiency: You are comfortable using requirement management tools (e.g., Jama Connect) and familiar with software development and tracking tools like Jira, TestRail, and GitHub.

  • Communication: You are an articulate communicator, able to convey technical information clearly to diverse audiences and collaborate effectively across time zones.

  • Agility: You bring a proactive mindset and a passion for developing high-quality, user-centric products. You are adaptable and comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Nice to haves:

  • INCOSE Certified Systems Engineering Professional (CSEP) certification.

  • Experience with AI/ML concepts beyond documentation generation, and advanced prompt engineering techniques.

  • Proven track record of leading complex systems engineering projects from concept through to commercialization.
