Summary:
Manages the daily workflow of assigned department or unit.Responsibilities:
In collaboration with Service Line Leadership, assesses the non-clinical quality of patient care delivered and coordinates patient care services with patients, staff, physicians, and other departments. Implements improvements based on the assessment.Determines and justifies needs for systems/equipment/supplies purchases, monitors usage, and oversees proper working order and/or stock supplies. Ensures that supplies and expenses are within the allocated budget.Monitors regulatory compliance, departmental contracts and vendor relations.Oversees and manages administrative functions within an assigned program.Manages staff relations including performance management, staff satisfaction, and conflict management. Performs and oversees scheduling, recruitment, payroll, and student engagements.Collaborates with Service Line Leadership to develop specific departmental goals, standards, and objectives which directly support the strategic plan of the department/unit/service line, and vision of the organization.Competencies:

Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action. May need to work odd shifts and long hours. May need to provide weekend and/or holiday coverage. Required Work Experience: Three (3) years of experience working in healthcare.
