Summary of Job Duties:

The Program Administrator will be responsible for financial, grants management, administrative, and purchasing oversight for the Arkansas Center for Women and Children’s Health. The position will work with a state-wide team to ensure that all of the Center’s strategic objectives are met and within the funders' compliance.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in health, business, or related field plus four (4) years of grants management or financial management experience or

  • High School diploma/GED plus eight (8) years of grants management or financial management experience required.

  • UAMS Grants Management Certification (Educational Certificate) preferred.


Additional Information:

Responsibilities:

  • Oversees multiple budgets, time and effort reports, monthly allocations, contracts, and business agreements.

  • Prepares salary projections and assisting with budget close-out procedures.

  • Prepares and reviews invoices for reimbursements, creates reports, completes purchasing and invoicing, and provides monthly updates is part of the responsibilities.

  • Regular meetings with faculty and staff to review budgets and allocations are required to ensure compliance with grant requirements.

  • Guides teams in proper procedures and processes related to procurement and inventory control while managing and adhering to the Center’s purchasing and inventory controls as outlined by UAMS procurement processes.

  • Works on administratively coordinating education supplies as requested in the grant.

  • Responsible for acquiring mother-infant postpartum care kit requested for a mother-infant postpartum care kits as a part of their education for better self and infant care to reduce the risk of infant mortality.

  • Performs other duties as assigned.
