Role Definition:

Maximizes external supplier performance through understanding our supply network.

What you will do:

• Serving as focal point for suppliers, following up on requirements to minimize past due schedules.
• Focusing on inventory management to prevent excess material within the network.
• Reviewing and acting on schedule releases and follow up for on-time shipments.
• Working with global purchasing buyers and purchasing analyst on problem parts.

Accuracy and Attention to Detail:

• Identifies critical deliverables from subcontract suppliers that require careful validation, such as documentation, delivery dates, and material conformity.
• Applies standardized procedures to ensure that information received from suppliers is accurate and error‑free, including cross‑checks, quality controls, and verification against contracts.

Analytical Thinking:

• Provides examples of how supplier performance data (KPIs, lead times, quality deviations) has been analyzed to resolve supply or compliance issues.
• Supports others in using analytics tools and supplier performance tracking systems—such as dashboards, performance reports, or material management systems—to improve decision‑making.

Collaborating:

• Explains the importance of collaboration among functions such as Purchasing, Quality, Engineering, and Production to effectively manage subcontract suppliers.
• Provides examples of how working collaboratively with internal teams and suppliers has enabled achievement of material availability goals, resolution of issues, or process improvements.

Distribution Requirements Planning (DRP):

• Describes the role of subcontract suppliers within the supply flow and how their performance affects distribution and production requirements.
• Explains the basic process of moving, receiving, and releasing materials from external suppliers and how it must be synchronized with internal demand.

Materials Handling and Management:

• Identifies key challenges associated with handling subcontracted materials, such as delivery variability, storage, traceability, and quality.
• Discusses key considerations for the physical management of materials supplied by subcontractors, including inspection, inventory flow, deviation control, and release to production.

Supplier Management - MFG:

• Describes typical tasks involved in managing subcontract suppliers, such as delivery monitoring, issue resolution, KPI tracking, risk management, and ongoing communication.
• Defines common terms and conditions found in supplier agreements, including service levels, non‑compliance penalties, quality requirements, delivery windows, and capacity commitments.

This position will require travel 5 %

Work schedule: Lunes – Sabado (7am a 3pm )
