Summary:
Seeking a Data Architect with deep expertise in data sizing and volumetrics, including managing large-scale data migrations involving approximately 5 TB of transactional data and 4.5 Cr customer base. This role is pivotal in our transformative banking projects, focusing on internet and mobile banking platforms. The ideal candidate should have direct experience with migrations involving extensive master data sets, including customer and account information, transactions, and must be adept at handling Personally Identifiable Information (PII) and Sensitive Personal Data or Information (SPDI).
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Manage the migration of large datasets (approx. 5 TB), including customer master data in tune of 4 Cr customer users, account information, and transaction records, from legacy systems (running on Oracle) to Oracle and MongoDB as target databases.
- Design and implement data architect strategies for large volumes of data, ensuring minimal impact on business operations.
- Handle sensitive data (PII/SPDI) with utmost compliance to legal and regulatory standards, ensuring data privacy and security.
- Conduct thorough data validation, cleansing, and reconciliation processes to maintain data integrity and accuracy.
- Tackle complex challenges related to data volumetrics, performance tuning, and optimization during the architect process.
- Provide expert insights into the sizing, scoping, and resource allocation necessary for efficient data migration.
- Design and development of migration utility for the above scope taking into consideration validations, performance, back pressure, failures, recon mechanisms and reporting
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in data architect, with specific expertise in handling large-scale data (5 TB and above) with large user base ~ 4-5 Cr Userbase.
- Proven track record in banking sector migrations, with a focus on handling sensitive customer and account data.
- Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, Mongo queries, batching and experienced in utilizing advanced data migration and scripting tools.
- Demonstrated experience in data cleansing, validation, and reconciliation in large-scale architect projects.
- Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations, particularly regarding PII and SPDI.
Additional Information:
- The candidate should have a minimum of 7.5 years of experience in Data architect.
- Design and development and implementation experience in data-intensive projects for migration
- Any certifications in data privacy and security, or database technologies is welcome.
- We need resource to work from client office in Mumbai (BKC)
