I. HR Generalist Operations (Approx. 75%)
• Employee Lifecycle Management: Oversee complex HR transactions, including comprehensive onboarding. Employee benefits implementation including insurance schemes, managing employee onboarding, Level 2 employees query management, and internal policy.
• Employee Relations: Manage and resolve moderate to complex employee relations issues, disciplinary actions, and grievances, ensuring all actions are documented and adhere to the principles of labor code and culture of Onemagnify.
• Payroll Input Management: Coordinate with Finance/Payroll vendors to ensure error-free salary processing, including TDS and bonus calculations.
• Insurance Management: Oversee Group Medical Insurance (GMC) and Personal Accident insurance, assisting employees with claims and queries.
• HRIS (Workday) Mastery: Act as the system power user, ensuring data integrity, generating compliance and strategic HR reports, and driving automation and efficiency within the HRIS.
• Policy Management: Draft, update, and communicate internal HR policies and guidelines to ensure they remain current and aligned with the latest amendments to the Indian Labour Codes.
II. Statutory Compliance & Risk Management (Approx. 25%)
• Statutory Ownership & Auditing: Serve as the primary custodian for HR statutory compliance. Conduct regular, documented internal audits of all HR practices and records to proactively identify and mitigate compliance risks.
• Payroll: Be directly responsible for verifying and auditing the accuracy of data related to mandatory statutory remittances, monthly payroll inputs to finance including calculating final settlements to ensure the payments are made on time in adherence to the labor code.
• POSH Compliance: Manage the administrative functions related to the Prevention of Sexual Harassment (POSH) Act, 2013, including reporting assistance, maintaining training records, and supporting the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC).
• Documentation & Filings: Ensure timely and accurate maintenance of all statutory registers and records, and assist in the preparation and filing of returns for inspections and government reporting.
IV. Required Skills and Qualifications
• University degree in HR, business administration or its equivalent. MBA with specialization in HR is an advantage.
• 1-3 years of progressive HR experience in a corporate setting in India, with demonstrated experience across HR Generalist functions, and Statutory Compliance.
• Hands-on knowledge of Indian Labour Laws and exposure in managing statutory audits.
• High proficiency in using and optimizing HRIS for both operational efficiency and compliance reporting.
• Exceptional ability to handle sensitive and confidential information while ensuring legal risk mitigation.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
