Job Description

Primary Duties

· Support the execution and refinement of policies and procedures that govern capital investment review and allocation, ensuring alignment with best practices

· Develop and maintain models for forecasts, scenario analysis, and economic assessments that support capital investment decisions in-line with organizational objectives, regulatory requirements, and risk management considerations

· Work with project teams and corporate support functions to gather inputs, challenge assumptions, and coordinate required diligence to ensure capital submissions are complete, consistent, and decision‑ready

· Facilitate the structured, consistent and concise preparation and presentation of business development opportunities, reporting, and capital investment recommendations to senior leadership, investment committees, and other stakeholders

· Monitor relevant market dynamics, policy developments, and macro trends, and assess their potential impacts on project assumptions, risks, and investment outcomes

· Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement through knowledge sharing, mentorship, and collaboration with peers

· Identify and implement opportunities to improve workflows to enhance the efficiency and quality of financial analysis and investment reviews

· Support follow‑up analysis, scenario testing, and ad‑hoc requests from leadership and investment committees related to project economics, risks, and capital decisions

Qualifications, Skills and Abilities

· 7–10 years of relevant experience in energy‑related investment analysis, corporate finance, consulting, capital project evaluation, or financial due diligence

· Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, economics, or similar field; MBA, CFA, CBV, or other relevant advanced degree or professional designation preferred

· Proven ability to develop financial models and forecasts, interpret market and project information, and translate analysis into clear, actionable insights to support investment decisions

· Excellent technical skills with advanced proficiency in financial modeling

· Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work effectively under pressure

· Ability to work with diverse, cross-functional teams

· Demonstrated curiosity, critical thinking, and tenacity, and an ability to operate effectively in situations with incomplete information, uncertainty, and evolving assumptions

· Outstanding oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills

· High attention to detail, delivering accurate work in a timely manner
