Cybersecurity Threat Detection and Incident Response Lead

Key Role:

Process and analyze cyber threat intelligence data and compile standard and ad-hoc reports as needed. Leverage expertise of cyber data and information, analyze and identify data requirements, use specialized tools and services, and develop intelligence products. Apply advanced consulting skills or extensive technical expertise and full industry knowledge. Develop innovative solutions to complex problems. Work without considerable direction. Mentor and may supervise team members.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Experience identifying and monitoring cyber threats

  • Experience collaborating with other cybersecurity teams and key client stakeholders to enhance cyber readiness

  • Knowledge of cybersecurity tools such as Tanium, ServiceNow, Splunk ES, Sentinel1, or Armis

  • Ability to conduct comprehensive analysis of security incidents and threats, employing advanced techniques to ensure timely detection and response

  • Ability to regularly assess system logs and security event data to proactively identify potential security breaches and take necessary actions

  • Public Trust

  • Bachelor’s degree

  • GCIA, GSEC, GCIH, or CEH Certification

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $86,800.00 to $198,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
