About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for the architectural design, operational continuity, and evolution of the organization’s Identity and Collaboration platforms, including Active Directory, Windows DNS, Exchange Server (On-Prem & Online), Azure / Entra ID, and Google Workspace.
As a Senior Engineer, you will own hybrid identity architectures end-to-end, managing AD–Azure AD integrations, mail flow dependencies, and authentication flows at a system level. You will ensure high availability and security across Exchange environments (On-Prem, Hybrid, and Online) while deeply managing the impact of Windows DNS and core directory services on critical platforms.
The role requires technical leadership during critical incidents, advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis (RCA), and delivery of long-term corrective solutions. Within an ITIL framework, you are expected to demonstrate strong ownership in incident, problem, and change management, and to design planned, reversible changes for high-risk systems.
You will improve identity and email operations through automation and as-code approaches, standardizing access control, policy enforcement, and lifecycle management. From a security standpoint, you will address least privilege, privileged access, auditing, and compliance at an architectural level.
You will also collaborate proactively with multiple teams (Security, Network, Platform, Application teams, etc.), ensuring technical alignment through a solution-oriented and positive approach. By anticipating risks in ambiguous or complex environments, you will manage cross-team dependencies and contribute to solutions that deliver measurable business value.
Acting as a role model in technical documentation, architectural decision records (ADR/RFC), quality, and secure engineering practices, you will support team-wide technical growth and help build sustainable operational maturity.
