1. Regulatory and Management Reporting

  • Monitor and report operational loss events and key risk indicators to BNM, and where relevant, to PayNet.
  • Prepare operational risk dashboard on major operational loss events for Management updates.
  • Liaise with Business / Support Unit’s (B/SU) for loss event updates, ensure root cause is identified with mitigation action plans in place, highlight areas of concern and urgent action to be taken.
  • Attend to regulator / Management / audit queries related to loss events and key risk indicators.

2. Administration of Operational Risk Management Information System (ORMIS)

  • Provide support and assistance to ORMIS users.
  • Conduct 1st level trouble shooting in supporting of ORMIS.
  • Generate user access matrix of ORMIS systems.
  • Gather feedback from ORMIS users and liaise with IT for system enhancement.

3. Policy / SOP Development and Review

  • Develop, implement and review operational risk reporting related policies and SOP.
  • Enhance the policy and SOP from time to time to reflect the latest requirements.

4. Other Responsibilities

  • As and when required, support the Operational Risk Management department in:
  • Secretariat support for risk committees, including minute-taking and administrative matters
  • Develop in-house e-Learning materials related to Operational Risk Management
  • Respond to queries from regulator / Management / internal and external audit
  • Any other tasks that maybe assigned from the Management

Experience

  • Minimum 2 years of working experience, preferably from the financial industry
  • Possess knowledge and experience in Operational Risk Management and regulatory requirements will be an added advantage.
