What We’re Looking For: 

 

A friendly and detail-oriented individual to join our housekeeping department as a member of the Special Projects team to maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction. The ideal candidate will be proactive, motivated, and committed to providing an unforgettable experience for every guest.

What You’ll Do: 

 

  • Coordinates and executes the cleaning of offices, furniture, rooms, and public areas to standard.

  • Works with various departments, especially Engineering and Housekeeping.

  • Responsible for completing special projects that maintain and create a product that exceeds guest expectations.

  • Extensive use of cleaning equipment such as carpet, floor polishing, pressure washing machines etc.

  • Perform all job responsibilities safely using personal protective equipment and within range of motion with appropriate tools.  

  • Conducts regular inspections of housekeeping items including specific chemicals and cleaning equipment and reports any deficiencies.  

  • Prepares work orders for repair, renovation or replacement with Director approval.  

  • Comply with OSHA regulations and Loews Hotels cleaning policies, training guidelines and procedures.  

  • Other duties as assigned.  

  

Your Experience Includes: 

  • Basic English language communications required.  
  • Excellent customer service skills.  
  • Previous experience as housekeeping or related experience with cleaning equipment is preferred.  
  • Ability to stand, stoop, bend, walk during entire shift and to lift and/or move up to 150 lbs.   
  • Knowledge of and ability to use floor cleaning/polishing and carpet shampoo equipment, Pressure washers, Scrubber machines.
  • Knowledge of proper care and observes guidelines for machine use and maintenance for all equipment.  
  • Able to work indoors and outdoors.  
  • Physical role requiring repetitive heavy lifting items weighing up to 35+ pounds, pushing, pulling, bending, twisting and kneeling. 
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
