About the role
The position Remote Technical Support Engineer will be part of our Mainframe team in Bulgaria. We are seeking for motivated and ambitious people, willing to acquire new technical skills and gain experience in the IT field. This job opportunity is suited both for motivated young professionals with limited experience or seasoned professionals who are wishing to challenge themselves and step into the IT world. In either case, we offer comprehensive training in Mainframe technology.

Daily challenges

  • You will be supporting our customer’s infrastructure which is based on the Mainframe technologies, working on site from Sofia.
  • You will be identifying and solving technical problems in the customer’s environment.
  • Work on complex incidents that can affect thousands of users.
  • Plan, prepare and implement changes.
  • Monitor the customer environment for any issues that might arise.

eXperience & skills required

  • University degree in Computer science, other related area or equivalent work experience.
  • Interested in gaining knowledge in Mainframe technology and the main components of the z/OS architecture.
  • Fluent English.
  • Problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • Good communication skills and willingness to work in a team.
  • Willingness to work on shifts.
