Position Highlights:

  • Position: Staff Occupational Therapist- in patient
  • Location:   Glenbrook, Skokie, Evanston, Highland Park Hospitals
  • Resource/Per Diem
  • Hours: rotating - per diem Saturdays, Sundays 8am-430pm and M-F 8am-430pm; or other times; employee provides their availability weekends and weekdays
  • Required Travel:  Glenbrook, Skokie, Highland Park, Evanston Hospitals

What you will need:

  • License: Licensed or eligible for licensure as an Occupational Therapist in the State of IL
  • Education: Bachelor of Science from a school of Occupational Therapy or a Master’s degree from an accredited college or university approved by the AOTA and the Council on Medical Education of the AMA.
  • Certification: CPR required, OTR certified ( NBCOT preferred)
  • Skills and Expereince: in-patient OT experience

What you will do:

  • Provide evaluation, treatment and follow-up services to physician referred patients
  • Prepare and maintain accurate patient records including evaluations, progress notes, discharge summaries and billing
  • Participates in the clinical supervision of students
