About this role
This role should ensure accounting activity recorded within the company’s records and books are accurate and complete.
In this role, you will develop full proficiency in a range of technical processes and procedures through job-related training and on-the-job experience. You will need to be able to apply knowledge of technical processes and procedures to perform a range of work assignments. You need to understand how multiple teams coordinate efforts and resources to achieve objectives and be able to explain complex technical information to members of your own team and other teams.
It is your responsibility to provide solutions to operational or analytical problems using established procedures and practices. You will serve as informal resource on analytical, scientific method, or operational processes for less experienced team members. Your performance impacts the quality, timeliness, and effectiveness of your own work and your team’s work. You will receive supervision on new complex assignments.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for monthly tax compliance (VAT and Withholding Tax reporting) and supporting annual corporate income tax reporting.
• Preparing account reconciliations.
• In charge of tax reconciliation and equalization.
• Supporting statutory audit and tax audit processes.
• Ensuring compliance with Indonesian statutory and tax regulations.
• Administration and proper filing of accounting documents.
• Coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations and reporting.
• Working with a limited degree of supervision, with oversight focused on complex new assignments.
• Performing other tasks assigned by the Controller, e.g., annual stock take.

Qualifications

• S1 or bachelor’s degree in Accounting from a reputable university.
• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with the above responsibilities.
• Working experience in tax consulting firm is an advantage.
• Fluent in written and verbal English communication (CV must be in English).

Your Skills

• Strong analytical and numerical skills, high attention to detail and accuracy, and well-organized.
• Fast learner, hardworking, and able to work in a team and under pressure to meet deadlines.
• Brevet A & B certification.
• Strong understanding of Indonesian PSAK and taxation.
• Experience working with Indonesian tax reporting systems such as eFaktur, eNofa, DJP Online, and Coretax.
• Experience working with SAP is a significant advantage.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
