The IT Asset Management Strategy & Transformation team is critical pillar within the Enterprise Technology IT Transformation Management Office, responsible for modernizing, governing, and optimizing technology assets across the enterprise. This team leads the strategic evolution of IT Asset Management (ITAM) practices, partnering closely with HR, Communications, Architecture, Product Owners, and Finance to ensure alignment with business priorities, compliance requirements, and operational efficiency goals.

The dates of this internship are May/June 2026 through August/September 2026

What You Will Do

As a Business Data Analyst Intern on the IT Asset Management Strategy & Transformation team, you will support initiatives that modernize and optimize how technology assets are governed and managed across the enterprise. Working within Enterprise Technology, you will collaborate with cross‑functional partners—including HR, Finance, Communications, Architecture, Product Owners, and Quality Assurance—to translate business needs into well‑defined requirements and high‑quality technology solutions that drive operational efficiency and compliance across The Walt Disney Company.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist with stakeholder interviews and requirements gathering.

  • Create detailed requirements documentation, including written user stories, acceptance criteria, and data flow diagrams

  • Assist with early development reviews, user acceptance testing, and post-deployment testing

  • Work with Quality Assurance to ensure product functionality is properly covered in manual and automated test scripts

  • Support customers via email, collaboration/incident reporting tools, and 1:1 troubleshooting sessions

  • Occasionally facilitate training sessions for customers

  • Create and maintain detailed project, product and customer documentation, such as departmental how-to guides and end-user manuals

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook

  • Familiarity with VLOOKUP in Excel

  • Experience working in collaborative environments and managing multiple projects

  • Experience with researching and/or using a range of tools to acquire information and present findings

  • Experience with multitasking in a fast-paced environment

  • High attention to detail and experience multitasking in a fast-paced environment

  • Experience using social media platforms to engage with an audience

Preferred Qualifications

Proficient at AI prompting and using genAI tools to accelerate organization of documented materials and accelerate synthesis into actionable artifacts

Education

Currently enrolled as a junior or senior pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related discipline.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship

  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.

  • Be at least 18 years of age

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this position are May/June 2026 through August/September 2026

  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work

  • Fully available from Monday-Friday for the duration of the position, 40 hours per week
