What You Will Do:

The focus of this position is to provide front office support within a fast-paced environment for a Department of Homeland Security client. The candidate will support the client front office with tasking and correspondence management, programmatic support, and general administrative support. This will include independently managing workload and tasks, as well as ensuring delivery of high-quality deliverables. High level job duties include:

  • Tracking, oversight, and monitoring of assignments/initiatives/taskings;

  • Maintain/update daily and weekly electronic calendars for senior executives;

  • Prepare briefing books and read ahead materials for senior executives;

  • Coordinating travel for senior executives;

  • Manage and maintain confidential files/records;

  • Prepare and maintain Quick Reference Guides and other internal operating procedures and templates to ensure efficient office operations


What You Will Need:

  • US Citizenship and the ability to OBTAIN and MAINTAIN a Federal Public Trust

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • Entry level administrative experience


What Would Be Nice To Have:

  • Experience and comfort interacting with senior executives

  • Experience preparing executive-level communications

  • Experience prioritizing workload to meet deadlines

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously

  • Ability to gather information and data, and synthesize to craft a concise, impactful response to a specific question or line of inquiry

  • Taskings experience in a Federal agency

  • CBP clearance

  • Executive Officer experience

  • Technical writing experience

  • Experience working on multidisciplinary teams

The annual salary range for this position is $62,400.00-$93,600.00. Compensation decisions depend on a wide range of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, security clearances, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.
