The Impact You’ll Make in this Role As a Global Application and Product Engineering Manager, you will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Leads a global team of application and product engineers for adhesives and abrasives across a broad range of consumer electronics applications
• Determines and prioritizes change management process (CMP) as well as product engineering support
• Develops a robust pipeline of application development, customer and market spec-in opportunities
• Creates a culture of customer intimacy and technical leadership
• Collaborate with business leadership to help determine priorities and strategy across two product lines Your Skills and Expertise 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed and verified prior to start)

- Proficient experience in application and/or product engineering in a private, public, government or military environment

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

- Master’s degree in a science or engineering discipline from an accredited institution

- People leadership experience of technical and/or engineering teams in a private, public, government or military environment Skills include familiarity with Salesforce.com, strong presentation and communication skills, working with global teams and working with spec-in customers

- Work location: • St Paul, Minnesota, Neuss, or Yangmei • On-site

Travel: May include up to 25%
