ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
(Duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following):
- Responsible for partnering with other workstreams to develop and deliver detailed training and support across all movement product suites.
- Delivers educational content of product offerings to movement loan originators and sales team members to enhance sales effectiveness and loan origination volume.
- Stays abreast on all of Movement’s product offerings, including Reverse, Construction, Correspondent Best Effort, brokered out and Second Mortgages.
- Maintain current training materials and creates new materials as needed with ability to break out by product need or targeted audience.
- Create and refine a variety of different base training program options, such as classroom learning, demonstrations, one-on-one coaching, or online learning.
- Supports project management efforts to efficiently develop and deliver training content.
- Basic understanding of pricing rules for product population in pricing engine, PollyX. Creates materials related to new product offerings including product profiles, underwriting guidelines, new product announcements, and training presentations.
- Assists in Sales scenario questions, helps to ensure Loan Officers who come to for assistance are aware of all applicable product options.
- Work with MM Product Development and Marketing team to support the development of marketing materials by the marketing department.
- Ability to travel to sales group meetings to present on product offerings.
- Assist in development FAQ’s, job aids and reference documentation or loan originators.
- Support onboarding training with corporate sales learning department on topics related to product and pricing.
- Maintain knowledge in adult learning to evolve learning acumen and ensure all learning styles are considered in education development.
- Create and maintain learning rosters, materials and surveys.
- Create, maintain and monitor KPI’s to ensure knowledge transfer is realized.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
(To perform the job successfully, the candidate should demonstrate the following competencies to perform the essential functions of this job.)
- Excellent knowledge of mortgage loan origination systems, product and pricing engines and related mortgage software tools.
- Excellent knowledge in building training and education presentations and webinars.
- Excellent knowledge in mortgage loan products, underwriting guidelines and industry regulations.
- Excellent presentation and speaking skills
- Ability to simplify complex information and communicate it effectively.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, company learning management system and other learning tools implemented into the organization.
- Ability to adapt training and content creation to various learning styles and experience levels.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac Selling Guides, industry standard Jumbo guidelines, typical industry Non-QM program guides such as Bank Statement, Asset Depletion, ITIN, and DSCR options.
- Understands the fundamentals of locking and pricing loans as well as margins, exceptions and pricing incentives.
- Prior experience as a mortgage trainer, training specialist or department leader.
- Experience with e-learning development tools and instructional design.
- Degree, certification or equivalent experience in adult learning, corporate training or instructional design.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
- Bachelors degree or equivalent industry experience (5 years) in the mortgage industry
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to travel for onsite training sessions as needed.
- Ability to sit and stand for extended periods of time during training sessions.
- Ability to lift and carry training materials, boxes, supplies or equipment up to 50lbs.
The expected salary range for this position is between:
$84,000.00 - $125,000.00
The range for the position in other geographies may vary based on market differences. The actual compensation will be determined based on experience and other factors permitted by law.
