As an Assembly Technician at Unifiller, you will play a vital part in the manufacturing process by assembling and installing components to create high-quality products. This position offers an opportunity to contribute to a team dedicated to precision, safety, and continuous improvement. Working at our new production facility in Richmond, BC you will be instrumental in ensuring that our products meet rigorous standards and are delivered efficiently to our customers.
Assemble, fit, and install prefabricated parts to form subassemblies or complete product assemblies using hand tools and small power tools.
Read, interpret, and follow detailed drawings, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and specifications to determine assembly requirements.
Ensure all products meet specified tolerances and adhere to quality standards aligned with Unifiller Systems’ commitment to excellence.
Assist with training new employees, sharing expertise to foster a knowledgeable and efficient team.
Maintain safe work practices by utilizing all required safety equipment and following established procedures.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and conducive to efficient workflow and safety.
Perform additional duties as assigned to support team objectives and production goals.
You will be part of a dedicated manufacturing team focused on delivering high-quality products. The role reports to the Production Supervisor and collaborates closely with other assembly and quality team members to ensure seamless operations and continuous improvement.
Prior experience in assembly, manufacturing, or related fields preferred.
Mechanical aptitude with the ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral.
Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask effectively.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Physical ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds safely.
Electrical knowledge and experience in manufacturing environments are considered assets.
Background in electrical assembly or related technical fields.
Demonstrated ability to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment.
