Position Overview:

As a member of our talented Controls Team, you will support automation, data, and control processes across our manufacturing operations. This role works closely with managers, supervisors, technicians, planners, and production employees on the plant floor while also managing assigned projects from start to finish.

Daily tasks may include troubleshooting machines or robots, writing SOPs, supporting preventive/predictive maintenance, working in various software environments, and creating or troubleshooting data collection processes. This role requires continuous learning, adaptability, and a drive to improve processes in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment.

Essential Functions:

  • Support manufacturing operations by troubleshooting automation and controls issues
  • Participate in internal teams to develop, maintain, and continuously improve factory automation
  • Influence, support, and implement new factory automation equipment
  • Create and update maintenance SOPs for repair and diagnostic procedures
  • Support controls and software solutions for manufacturing work cells
  • Contribute to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) initiatives

Required Qualifications:  

  • Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years in inventory management, material flow, or PFEP-related roles.
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership position.
  • Thorough knowledge of statistical process control, teaching skills, quality concepts, basic and advanced quality tools, and problem-solving techniques.
  • Ability to lead, teach, and motivate a team.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate degree in Electro‑Mechanical Technology, Automated Manufacturing Systems, or equivalent (or in progress)
  • Competency in PLC programming, specifically Allen‑Bradley
  • Understanding of industrial network infrastructures (e.g., Ethernet)
  • Ability to read and interpret controls prints and create/modify prints using AutoCAD
  • General knowledge of manufacturing tooling and equipment
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.)

The hiring range for this position is $62,800-$90,500 annually. The actual base pay offered will vary based on multiple factors including job-related knowledge/skills, relevant experience, business needs, and geographic location. Compensation decisions are dependent upon the specifics of the candidate’s qualifications and the business context.

In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
