Your Mission

In this role, you will lead and drive the implementation of sustainable practices and initiatives across the organization, fostering a culture of environmental responsibility, social consciousness, and ethical governance. You will ensure that sustainability targets are met and support the management team in infusing sustainability into Dormer Pramet’s overall business strategy and ambition. This role will have no direct reports but wide stakeholders management responsibility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a forward-thinking sustainability strategy that aligns with our company's core values and industry best practices.
  • Lead the development of corporate Sustainability procedures and guidelines, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards, through collaboration with stakeholders
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainability considerations into business operations, products, and services.
  • Lead efforts to reduce environmental impact, promote resource efficiency, and identify opportunities for innovation.
  • Infuse best demonstrated practices into the organization and drive their implementation
  • Engage with internal and external partners to drive sustainability initiatives, partnerships, and community engagement.
  • Stay current with emerging trends, regulations, and best practices in sustainability to ensure our company's practices remain cutting-edge.
  • Educate and inspire employees at all levels about the importance of sustainability and their role in achieving our goals.

Your Profile

To succeed in this role, you have experience in driving sustainability efforts with specific results as well as working at a senior level within the sustainability area. You have in-depth knowledge of sustainability frameworks (e.g., GRI, SASB, UN SDGs) and proven experience implementing sustainable practices. You have knowledge and experience of GHG Protocol emissions, emissions management, Net Zero programs and SBTI targets.
 

Since we are a global business, we value your experience in managing virtual teams where stakeholders are located in multiple countries and timezones. We are looking for someone with a bachelor’s degree in environmental science, sustainability, engineering, or related field with a minimum of 7 years of documented working experience in driving and leading sustainability efforts in multinational organizations.

 In addition, we are searching for someone who has a visionary mindset, with a demonstrated ability to drive change and influence at an organizational level results-oriented project management capabilities, able to lead and execute effectively with capacity to translate big ideas into action, is a driver and easily can adapt to our agile and fast changing environment. You have excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills and a demonstrated ability to drive change, implement initiatives, and influence at all organizational levels. Experience with regenerative or circular solutions advantageous but not pre-requisite

Location for this position is home-office in either India, Thailand, Slovakia, Poland or Czech Republic.

This position will report to the Global Head of Sustainability and QEHS , Dormer Pramet.
